To get to the Baita Civetta from the departure point of the pistes go right and walk next to the Lendina piste (carefully) up to the end of the plain. From here, with the utmost caution go across the slope and take the beaten track to the left behind the safety nets. There are at least two beaten paths that reach the Baita: one immediately on the left is a little shorter and steeper, and the other one on the right is a little longer.
From where you cross the ski slope you can also go right and soon take a track to the left (you pass under the chairlift) that joins the main route through beautiful woods and small footbridges.
Later a clear crossroad suggests to turn right in order to make it to the characteristic mountain hut at the foot of Mount Civetta. From here on, the trekking is mainly in the wood and you can breath the pleasant and pure air of Val di Pecol.
Deviating towards the right you can arrive at the plain “Le Palanche”, a pic-nic area provided with several boardwalks to cross the initial section of the water stream Maè.
Instead, the trail to Baita Civetta, continues straight going back to the wood and running along the water stream (looking on your right you may be able to see a small waterfall called “Gavon Grant”).
Briefly, you will be back to the ski area and as soon as the trees leave space for the slopes you will be able to see the little wooden dwelling hosting Baita Civetta (1579 m) on the left.
