Val di Zoldo is waiting for you
The Val di Zoldo is marked of by the Pelmo and the Civetta, two of the most beautiful, best-known and most popular mountains in the Dolomites. Here on the rock faces, many chapters of mountaineering history have been written, both in the early days and recently. The north-west face of the Civetta requires no introduction, and the same goes for the Pelmo, but the valley is also home to some other interesting mountains, with vertical walls that are a climbing fan’s dream.
Of the numerous rock faces of the Moiazza group, the most popular are undoubtedly those that can be conveniently reached from the Duran Pass, mostly facing south.
The Spiz di Mezzodì offer numerous options, in an unexpectedly wild, unspoilt environment, and this is a place you’ll love if you’re in search of peace and quiet.
Lastly, the Bosconero group, despite its relatively low altitude, offers magnificent vertical walls that have nothing to envy the better-known big walls of the Dolomites. And then there is the Bosconero Refuge at the bottom, sure to make you fall in love with the place and keen to return.
