From the hamlet of Villanova (946 m), hike between the houses, crossing provincial road 347 twice, until you reach an old creamery in Fornesighe (1,012 m), now home to the cultural association "Piodech Zoldan”.
At the end of a narrow asphalt road heading northwest, follow an easy forest road to its end; here, across a stream, you can see how the track continues. After a short stretch, at a small ledge, the path climbs slowly northwards, passing through short zig-zag sections with sometimes stony terrain that must be tackled with caution when it rains.
If you continue climbing into the woods, enjoying amazing views of Mount Pelmo in the background, you reach the bed of the Rù de Pisolòt stream (1,160 m); after crossing the stream, you come onto the provincial road to Zoppè di Cadore and climb it for about 1 km.
A trail ascending to the right (see table) leads to the ruins of two small barns; after a few short hairpin bends, the path reaches a forest road that takes you to Zoppè di Cadore (1,418 m).
