To Rifugio Bosconero

A diverse itinerary to Rifugio Bosconero, among beautiful forests, unforgettable views and wild Dolomites, that allows also enjoyable variations which make it always different.

On the Sp. 251 ( at Pontesei , 825 m - dedicated seasonal bus stop) just higher up than the artificial basin, take path 490 (signposted). At the height of 925 m ignore path 485 branching off of to the right (for Casera dei Zot, Colaz, Croda bianca) and continue straight. Higher up the path merges with one up from Pontesei from the left. Juest after (1060 m, Pian del Mugon), the Anello zoldano path 491 merges in from the left and on the right starts another path which takes to casera dei Zot. proceed along path 490, cross the pebbly river bank of the Val Bosconero, then two brooks and after merging with path 485 (up from the right), the path soon reaches the hut Rifugio Bosconero (1457 m; 1,45 h).

Stunning views from Rifugio Bosconero, where you can admire the Civetta mountain chain. The hut since 2006 is a research site of the University of Padua, with an important study of integrated sustainable management of municipal solid waste and waste water.
