Mount Rite, with its 360 degrees views over the surrounding mountains, is one of the most panoramic peaks of the Dolomites. From some years it has also accommodated the famous Messner Mountain Museum, set up in a First World War fort, an exhibition which has increased the fame of this mount exponentially.
Starting from Forno di Val di Zoldo you climb up to Passo Cibiana. Riding for almost 10 easy kilometers on paved road up to the pass, you then continue towards the top of Mount Rite on the gravel road which rises on regular gradient, revealing wider and wider landscapes of Val di Zoldo, Mount Pelmo and Val Boite, till you see the wide valley of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the peaks of Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park.
Accompanied by a mountain leader.
