Ski-mountaineering - Vant de le Sasse

A classic ski-mountaineering itinerary of medium difficulty. 

The panorama of this excursion is breathtaking and in fact allows a view over Pelmo, Civetta, Antelao and the group of Mezzodì.

Start off from Pecol and with the ski lifts reach La Grava (chairlift Casot La Grava). The itinerary goes along the left of the Civetta Bassa until you reach the slopes below the Forcella delle Sasse. From here go up the valley without following a forced itinerary as far as the saddle at 2570 m.

The descent goes down the same itinerary. Expert and well prepared ski mountaineers with ideal snow conditions, can traverse and go down towards the Val dei Cantoni reaching Capanna Trieste and then Listolade.
