Snowshoe excursion | Spiz Zuel

A long itinerary, but with a special view on the final part. It develops on the foot of Mount Moiazza and Mount Civetta and for almost its entire duration, it goes along the rut leading to Malga La Grava and further to the summit crossing the minor mountain pass of Forcella del Tolp.

There is the possibility to follow some variations on the track. One of these allows you to reach the peak of Monte della Grava, where the mountain hut Rifugio Su’n Paradis is located; this is a little bit shorter itinerary, but still able to bring satisfaction and beautiful panoramas. This variation is preferrable in case of avalanche risk on the top of Spiz Zuel.

Starting point: from the curve in correspondence of the water strim Moiazza in loc. Le Vare, following the trail n° 559, later on cross the little bridge on the right and continue along the rut reaching the Malga La Grava.
