The Caleda cliff is near the Duran Pass (between the Val di Zoldo and the Agordino area), in the San Sebastiano – Tamer Dolomite mountains, looking onto the opposite side of the Pass from the Moiazza group. The routes run on the rock wall at the base of the Sas de Caleda.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place, surrounded by woodland yet with a large, convenient open space at the base of the wall.

The climbing is on dolomia rock, with technical routes on plates and overhangs in continuity on the fingers. There are about 40 routes. The routes are equipped with bolds, the oldest of which have handmade plates. At the base of the routes, there is a board with a list of the routes and an assessment of the difficulty level. The materials recommended include a rope of at least 60 m, a set of at least 15-16 quickdraws, belays and descenders, cords and tapes.

Exposure: west

Always consult a local alpine guide to check the conditions of the routes.
